Prof. Vladimir Estivill
Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Spain
Bio: Vladimir Estivill-Castro is currently a full professor of the Department of Engineering at Pompeu Fabra University (UPF), and a visiting Erskine Fellow at the University of Canterbury in New Zealand. He has worked professionally in Mexico, the United States, Australia, Spain and Canada as a scholar, academic, consultant, programmer, project leader, and teacher. He holds a bachelor’s in mathematics and a master's in mathematics, as well as a master's in education and a doctorate in computer science. He pioneered privacy-preserving data mining. He received the Best PhD supervisor Award for Computer Science from the Australian Teaching and Learning Council in 2010. He is an expert in artificial intelligence, data science, robotics, and software engineering. His current research interests are machine ethics and model-driven engineering.

Assoc. Prof. Lorenzo Bettini

Bio: Lorenzo Bettini is an Associate
Professor in Computer Science at DISIA

di Firenze, Italy, since February 2016.
Previously, he was an Assistant Professor
(Researcher) in Computer Science at
Dipartimento di Informatica, Università di
Torino, Italy.
His research interests cover design, theory
and implementation of programming languages
with IDE support (in particular
Object-Oriented languages and Network aware
languages).
He is a committer of the Eclipse projects
Xtext and SWTBot, and the project lead of
the Eclipse project EMF Parsley.

Assoc. Prof. Masateru Tsunoda
Kindai University, Japan
Bio: Masateru Tsunoda is an associate professor in the Department of Informatics at Kindai Unitersity, Japan. His research interests include software measurement and human factors in software development. Tsunoda received a Doctor of Engineering in information science from the Nara Institute of Science and Technology. He is a member of IEEE, the Institute of Electronics, Information, and Communication Engineers, the Information Processing Society of Japan, the Japan Society for Software Science and Technology, and the Japan Society for Information and Systems in Education.

Prof. Hamed Taherdoost

Bio: Dr. Hamed Taherdoost is an
award-winning global scholar, R&D
professional, and industry leader with more
than two decades of international experience
across North America, Europe, Asia, the
Middle East, and Australia. He is a
Professor at University Canada West
(Canada), and also holds adjunct faculty
appointments at Westcliff University (USA),
GISMA University of Applied Sciences
(Germany), and the Victorian Institute of
Technology (Australia), bringing a truly
international perspective to higher
education and research supervision.
In industry, Dr. Taherdoost has held senior
executive roles including CTO, R&D Director,
and CEO within startups and multinational
organizations, leading applied innovation
initiatives in digital transformation,
cybersecurity, and emerging technology
strategy. He is the Founder of Hamta
Business Corporation and has advised more
than 150 companies globally on R&D planning,
technology commercialization, and innovation
management, securing over $50M through
competitive funding and incentive programs,
including Canada’s SR&ED program.
A prolific scholar and research
methodologist, Dr. Taherdoost has authored
and edited numerous academic and
professional books and has published over
450 scholarly works spanning research
methodology, technology adoption,
cybersecurity, blockchain, and AI-driven
transformation. His textbooks on digital
transformation and R&D are adopted by
universities worldwide. He serves as Series
Editor for Routledge’s Mastering Academic
Excellence series and Jenny Stanford’s
Quantum Computing series, and holds
editorial and reviewer roles with
high-impact international journals and
publishers, including IEEE, Springer, IGI
Global, EAI, Frontiers, and others.
